Glasteel 50th Anniversary
Glasteel is pleased to announce that we are celebrating our 50th year in the Fiberglass Reinforced panel industry. Our experience and dedication to this industry has allowed us to achieve a leadership position in markets such as Wall and Ceiling Liner Panel, Metal Building Daylighting, and Cooling Tower industries.
Holding a significant international presence, we now manufacture products utilizing our state of the art facilities in the United States, Mexico, and Spain. All of our manufacturing facilities are ISO 9002 certified and are committed to the highest quality and efficiency standards.
Glasteel is a division of Stabilit, who started operations in 1959 in Mexico City manufacturing FRP panels. Glasteel was acquired from Alpha Corporation in 1997 and integrated to Stabilit’s business and international expansion.
Glasteel is the fastest growing FRP brand over the past five years as a result of aggressive expansion in the North American markets. We have enjoyed this sustainable growth while remaining dedicated to superior product quality that our applications demand. The employees of Glasteel bring a focus toward continuous improvement and operation excellence that allows us to perform above industry expectations. Glasteel’s manufacturing processes use special types of resins and fiberglass to produce panels of superior quality and durability.
Recent market conditions and events have revealed unprecedented challenges to our industry as has happened in many others. With a flexible business model and the commendable support from our customers and employees, we have adapted to this new environment with minimum disruption to the market.
